About the Ministry
The Saviour Is Waiting Ministries began in the Spring of 1996 with a small website that contained a few articles. By the Fall of that year, Scott had written some tracts that he gave out at the annual Piedmont Interstate Fair, and after the fair he decided to offer the tracts, free of charge, to anyone who requested them through the website. Orders came in literally from around the world in no time.
Next, he began a tape ministry and also distributed them for free through the website.
Scott also hosted local radio programs in the 1990s and on into the 2000s, and in 2000, he was asked to speak at the church he was attending at the time. This was also the year that he met his wife, Nikkie, who also had ministry work of her own such as teaching Sunday School.
Together they began a nursing home ministry, published one of Nikkie's novels, and were marreid in 2002. They also held other outreaches such as festivals and concerts and Nikkie became a part of the radio programs.
They have four children: Matthew, Gabrielle, Jeremiah, and Elijah. |
